Automation rules

You can't watch every market — automation rules can. Set a price trigger on any selection and choose what happens when it fires: place a bet you've configured, or just tell you. Rules keep working while the app is running, even with the market's window closed.

Who can use it

Pro

Full access — Bet and Watch actions, multi-rule sequences, persistence across sessions, and background evaluation.

Basic

Automation rules are part of Pro. On Basic, price alerts and entries are hands-on — many traders find that's exactly how they want to learn before automating anything.

Anatomy of a rule

Creating a sequence

  1. Open the market and expand the Automation section (or use the main window's automation panel).
  2. Pick the selection and add your first rule: choose the price side, the direction (rises above / falls below) and the threshold.
  3. Choose the action. Starting with Watch is a good habit — see the trigger fire before you trust it with a stake.
  4. Add further rules to build the sequence, then save. The sequence shows as active on the selection.
  5. Close the window if you like — rules keep evaluating in the background while BetTrading.net is running, and survive a restart.

Staying in control

Automation places real bets

A Bet action stakes real money the moment its trigger fires — including while you're making tea. Start with Watch actions and small stakes, and review what fired after every session. Never automate a strategy you wouldn't place by hand.

Tips from the pros

Use Watch rules as a scanner across several markets, then trade the ones that trigger by hand. Pair an entry rule with a follow-up rule at your exit price to sketch a full trade. And set thresholds a tick or two inside the level you care about — triggers fire on crossing, and thin books can gap.
