BetTrading.net Help guide

The Ladder view

The classic trading ladder, built in: every price level a market knows about as a fixed rung — back money on the left, the price in the centre, lay money on the right — and a single click places a bet at that exact price. If you've traded with dedicated ladder software before, you'll feel at home immediately.

Who can use it

Pro

Full access. Double-click any market in the tree to open it in the Ladder view; a single click opens the Standard view — the gesture chooses the window, every time, no mode to set.

Basic

Available on Pro. Both click gestures open the Standard Market View, which shows the best available price each side — everything you need to back, lay and trade out.

Reading the ladder

Trading from the ladder

  1. Set your stake in the one-click amount field (shared with the Standard view's presets).
  2. Click on the back side of a rung to place a back bet at exactly that price — or on the lay side to lay at that price.
  3. Your bet rests at that rung until matched (watch it in the Requested Bets list), and can be cancelled while unmatched.
Tips from the pros

Ladders shine in fast, liquid markets — the pre-race minutes of televised racing are the classic use. Place resting bets a few ticks ahead of the current price and let the market come to you. And keep the Standard view's chart open on a second window for the longer price history — the two views share the same window allowance and the same market data.
