One predictable place for every setting. The Preferences window gathers the options that shape how BetTrading.net looks and trades — no hunting through scattered toggles.
Who can use it
All tabs and rows, including the Market Window's hotkeys settings and the Automations tab.
All the core tabs — appearance, trading defaults, market tree and market window sorting. Rows tied to Pro features appear when you do.
The tabs
- General — Appearance (dark/light mode) and Trading Defaults (your default one-click stake amount, and the telemetry sharing toggle).
- Market Tree — date labels as dates or "Today"/"Tomorrow", and the Timed List for today's markets.
- Market Window — selection sorting, plus (Pro) the hotkeys toggle.
- Automations (Pro) — settings for automation rules and market refresh cadences.
Light and dark mode
BetTrading.net ships a first-class dark theme — designed for long sessions and dim rooms — and an equally polished light theme. Three places switch it:
- The View menu's Dark Mode toggle, from anywhere in the app.
- Preferences → General → Appearance.
- The toggle on the sign-in screen, before you've even signed in.
Your choice applies instantly — no restart — and is remembered for next time. Embedded BetTrading.net pages (like this help guide) follow the app's theme automatically, so nothing flashes the wrong colour.
Set your default one-click stake to your standard unit before your first fast session — it's what every new market window starts with. Racing traders: turn the Timed List on and leave it on. And if you trade evenings, dark mode is kinder company than a white screen.
