Trade Out
Trade Out closes a position before the market settles: BetTrading.net works out the single opposing bet that makes your result the same whichever way the market goes — locking in a profit or capping a loss at today's prices — and places it for you. Some exchanges call this "cash out"; it's the same idea, and in BetTrading.net it works consistently on every exchange you've connected.

How it works
Your position on a selection is the net of all your matched bets on it. Trade Out looks at that position and the current prices, computes the opposing bet (the hedge) that equalises your profit or loss across both outcomes, and places it. The figure it offers you is the same number shown as unrealised P&L in Positions & P&L — by definition, not by coincidence.
- Open a market where you have matched bets and find the position's Trade Out action.
- Review the offered figure — positive locks a profit, negative caps a loss at that amount.
- (Pro) Optionally enter a partial amount to close only part of the position.
- Confirm. The hedge is placed as an ordinary bet, tagged in your bet list so you can tell it apart.
A Trade Out is a real bet: it needs to match. In a liquid market that's near-instant; in a thin one the hedge can rest unmatched while the price moves. The figure quoted is live at the moment of placement, not a guarantee held open for you.
