Cancelling or pausing Pro

You can cancel or pause Pro at any time from your account page. Either way, you keep Pro until the end of the month you have already paid for, and you are not charged again unless you change your mind or start Pro again.

Cancelling or pausing: which to choose

Cancel if you want to stop Pro altogether. Your subscription ends at the end of the month you have paid for. To use Pro again later, you buy it again.

Pause if you expect to come back. You are not charged while Pro is paused, and you can start Pro again from your account page whenever you are ready.

In both cases your account stays open on the free Basic plan, so you can carry on using the desktop application with one exchange connected at a time.

Cancelling Pro

1. Sign in and open your account page.
2. Select Manage billing. This opens Stripe's secure billing page. Stripe processes payments for BetTrading.net.
3. Choose to cancel your subscription, then confirm the cancellation on Stripe's page.

After you cancel:

• You keep Pro until the end of the month you have paid for. Your account page shows the date under Pro access until.
• You are not charged again.
• When that date arrives, your account moves to the free Basic plan.

You can also cancel by emailing support@bettrading.net from the email address on your account. We will cancel the subscription for you, and it ends in the same way.

Changing your mind after cancelling

Until your paid month ends, you can keep your subscription. Open your account page and select Keep my subscription. This opens Stripe's secure billing page, where you can renew it. Pro then carries on as before, and you are charged on your usual billing date.

Once the paid month has ended, the subscription cannot be kept. You can buy Pro again at any time from the Upgrade to Pro page.

Pausing Pro

1. Sign in and open your account page.
2. Select Pause subscription. A message tells you the date the pause starts.
3. Select Pause subscription again to confirm.

The pause starts at the end of the month you have already paid for, and you keep Pro until then. We email you to confirm the date, and again when the pause starts.

You can pause a subscription that is running normally. You cannot pause it while a payment is overdue or after you have cancelled it.

While Pro is paused:

• Your account has the features of the free Basic plan.
• You are not charged.
• You can start Pro again at any time, as the next section explains.

Changing your mind before the pause starts

Until the pause starts, your account page shows the date it will start and a Keep Pro button. Select Keep Pro, then confirm. The pause is cancelled, Pro carries on without a break, and nothing is charged now: your next payment is taken on your usual billing date.

Once the pause has started, you can no longer keep Pro this way. Start Pro again instead, as described below.

Starting Pro again after a pause

When you want Pro back, you start it again as a new payment:

1. Select Resume Pro on your account page. This takes you to the Start Pro again page.
2. Tick the box to start Pro straight away. It is the same box you tick when you first buy Pro, and Subscriptions & billing explains what it means.
3. Select Continue to secure payment, and pay £10.00 on Stripe's secure payment page. If your bank asks you to confirm the payment (3-D Secure), you do that on Stripe's page too.

When the payment goes through:

• Pro starts at once.
• Your monthly billing date becomes the day you paid. For example, if you start Pro again on 12 March, your next payment is taken on 12 April.
• Your paused subscription is closed, and nothing more is charged on it. We email you to confirm that Pro is active. There is no separate email about the paused subscription.
• The desktop application picks up Pro by itself the next time it renews your sign-in. To start using all of Pro there straight away, including the multi-market dashboard, sign out of the application and sign in again.

Resume Pro is on your account page only while Pro can be bought online. If it is not there, email support@bettrading.net and we will help you start Pro again.

If you decide to stop Pro altogether while it is paused, you can cancel instead: select Manage billing on your account page.

Cancelling Pro is not closing your account

Cancelling or pausing Pro leaves your BetTrading.net account open on the free Basic plan. Closing your account is a separate step, and once your account has closed it cannot be undone. It also stops your Pro subscription renewing. Your BetTrading.net account explains it. If you only want to stop paying for Pro, cancel Pro instead.
