Refund Policy
BetTrading.net
Effective Date: August 9, 2026
1. Introduction
This Refund Policy explains when subscription payments for BetTrading.net can be refunded, how to request a refund, and how cancellation works. We have written it in plain English because we would rather you understand exactly where you stand than have to decode legal language.
BetTrading.net is a service operated by JIA Software Limited, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 11905293, whose registered office is at Belmont Suite, Paragon Business Park, Chorley New Road, Horwich, Bolton, England, BL6 6HG. In this policy, "we", "us", "our" and "the Company" mean JIA Software Limited.
This Refund Policy should be read in conjunction with our Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and Cookie Policy. If anything in this policy is unclear, please contact our support team before you subscribe — we are always happy to help.
2. Start Free Before You Subscribe
We want you to be completely confident in BetTrading.net before you pay anything. That is why our Basic tier is free and stays free — it does not expire and it is not time-limited. You can create an account, install the application, connect a betting exchange account and use the core trading features at no cost, with no payment details required, for as long as you like.
Basic exists so you can get to know BetTrading.net properly and at your own pace before deciding whether the additional Pro features are worth paying for. Pro is a paid subscription from the first day: Pro features are not provided free of charge for any introductory period.
We warmly encourage you to spend as long as you need on Basic before subscribing. It is the best way to be sure BetTrading.net is right for you, and it is why our paid subscriptions are sold on the basis described below.
3. Payments Are Processed by Paddle
All BetTrading.net subscription payments are handled by Paddle. Paddle acts as the Merchant of Record for your purchase: when you subscribe, your payment is made to Paddle, who then provide us with the subscription service on your behalf. This means:
- Your payment, invoice, and billing details are managed securely by Paddle.
- Refund requests are handled through Paddle, in accordance with this policy and Paddle's own terms.
- Any refund that is approved will be returned by Paddle to your original payment method. Paddle typically processes approved refunds within 14 days.
You can read Paddle's terms at paddle.com/legal/checkout-buyer-terms and their refund policy at paddle.com/legal/refund-policy.
4. Our Refund Policy
4.1 The General Rule
Because the free Basic tier lets you evaluate BetTrading.net for as long as you like before paying, subscription fees are non-refundable once a billing period has started, except where the law gives you a right to a refund (see Section 5) or where this policy says otherwise.
This is consistent with how subscription trading software is generally sold. We state it up front so there are no surprises: please take your time on Basic, and only subscribe to Pro when you are sure.
4.2 What This Means in Practice
- Monthly subscriptions. Each monthly payment covers the month ahead. If you cancel part-way through a month, you keep full access until the end of the period you have paid for, and you will not be charged again. We do not provide pro-rata refunds for the unused part of a billing period.
- Renewals. Renewal payments are non-refundable once processed. To avoid an unwanted renewal, cancel any time before your next billing date (see Section 6). Cancelling takes effect at the end of the current billing period, so you never lose time you have paid for.
- Upgrades and downgrades. If you move between the Basic and Pro tiers, the change is handled through your account and Paddle's proration rules where applicable. Downgrading does not create a refund of amounts already paid.
4.3 When We Will Always Put Things Right
There are situations where a refund (or equivalent remedy) is the right thing to do, and we will work with Paddle to resolve them promptly:
- Duplicate or erroneous charges — for example, you were billed twice for the same period, or charged after a confirmed cancellation.
- A charge you did not authorise — contact Paddle and us immediately so it can be investigated.
- A verified fault on our side that prevented the service from being usable for a substantial part of your billing period and that we were unable to fix within a reasonable time after you reported it.
Nothing in this policy limits your statutory rights, including your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 for the service to be provided with reasonable care and skill.
5. Your Statutory Rights
5.1 United Kingdom and European Union — 14-Day Cooling-Off Period
If you are a consumer in the UK, EU, or EEA, you have a statutory right to withdraw from a purchase of digital services within 14 days of your first subscription payment, without giving a reason.
Please note how this applies to a digital service like BetTrading.net:
- The 14-day withdrawal right applies to your first subscription payment, not to subsequent renewal payments.
- During checkout, you may be asked to consent to the service being supplied immediately, within the cooling-off period. If you begin using the paid service during those 14 days, any refund may be reduced proportionately to reflect the service already supplied, or the right may be lost where the law allows and you have expressly acknowledged this.
- To exercise this right, contact Paddle or our support team within the 14-day period (see Section 7) — you are not required to go through Paddle. Any clear statement of your decision to withdraw is enough; you may use the model cancellation form in Section 4.7 of our Terms of Service, but you do not have to.
5.2 Other Countries
Consumers in some other countries have similar statutory cancellation rights with different periods (for example, 7 days in South Korea, Brazil, and Canada, and 5 days in Singapore, as reflected in Paddle's refund policy). Where the law of your country of residence grants you a refund or cancellation right that cannot be excluded, that right applies and this policy does not reduce it.
6. Cancelling Your Subscription
You are never locked in. You can cancel your subscription at any time:
- Log in to your BetTrading.net account, open your account settings, and select the cancellation option; or
- Manage your subscription through the Paddle billing portal linked from your payment receipt emails.
When you cancel:
- Your subscription remains fully active until the end of your current billing period — you keep everything you have paid for.
- You will not be charged again.
- Cancelling does not, by itself, create a refund of payments already made (see Section 4).
If you are cancelling because something is not working, please tell us first — most problems can be fixed quickly, and we would genuinely like the chance to help before you go.
7. How to Request a Refund
If you believe you are entitled to a refund under this policy or your statutory rights:
- Contact Paddle, our Merchant of Record, via their Order Support team at paddle.net. Have your receipt or order number ready — it is on your payment confirmation email.
- Or contact us through the support option on BetTrading.net, and we will liaise with Paddle on your behalf.
Please include the email address used for the purchase, the approximate date of the charge, and a short description of the issue. Refund eligibility is assessed against this policy, Paddle's refund policy, and your statutory rights. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method, normally within 14 days of approval.
8. Fair Use of This Policy
To keep the service fair for everyone, we and Paddle may decline refund requests where there is evidence of abuse — for example, repeated purchase-and-refund cycles, use of refunds to obtain extended access without payment, chargeback misuse, or fraudulent activity. Where a payment is disputed through your card issuer, access to the paid service may be suspended while the dispute is investigated. This section does not affect your statutory rights.
9. Chargebacks
If you have a billing concern, please contact Paddle or our support team before raising a chargeback with your bank or card issuer — almost every issue can be resolved faster and more smoothly that way. Chargebacks raised without contacting us may result in suspension of the associated account while the dispute is resolved.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time, for example to reflect changes in the law, in Paddle's terms, or in our subscription offering. The "Effective Date" at the top of this page shows when it was last revised. Changes apply to purchases made after the change takes effect; they do not reduce rights you already have in respect of an earlier purchase. If we make a material change, we will take reasonable steps to bring it to your attention.
