BetTrading.net has two plans: Basic, which is free and stays free, and Pro, which costs £10.00 a month. This page explains how the two plans differ, how to buy Pro, and how paying for it works.

Basic and Pro

Basic costs nothing. It includes the live market view, manual betting, full-position Trade Out, today's profit and loss, and the last 30 days of your trading history, with one exchange connected at a time. It is real trading, not a demo, and it has no time limit.

Pro includes everything in Basic and adds:

• Every supported exchange connected at once
• Best-price routing and order broadcasting
• Ladder view, multi-market dashboard, six concurrent markets
• Automation rules, custom presets, hotkeys
• Partial and one-click Trade Out
• Full history: unlimited range, filters, chart, CSV/PDF export
• Chart refresh down to 500 ms

Buying Pro

You buy Pro on the BetTrading.net website, on the Upgrade to Pro page. You can reach it from Upgrade to Pro on the pricing page or on your account page. You need to be signed in. If you are not, we ask you to sign in first and then take you back to the page. If you do not have an account yet, create a free one first.

1. Check what you are buying. The page lists what Pro includes and shows the price: £10.00 a month, including VAT.
2. Tick the box to start Pro straight away. The next section explains what the box means.
3. Select Continue to secure payment. The button becomes available once the box is ticked. It takes you to Stripe's secure payment page. Stripe processes payments for BetTrading.net.
4. Pay on Stripe's page. If your bank asks you to confirm the payment (3-D Secure), you do that on Stripe's page too. When the payment is complete, Stripe brings you back to BetTrading.net. Pro usually switches on within a few seconds, and the page tells you when it has.

If you leave Stripe's page without paying, you return to the upgrade page and you are not charged.

Once Pro is active on your account, the desktop application picks it up by itself the next time it renews your sign-in, and most windows you open after that have Pro. To start using all of Pro there straight away, including the multi-market dashboard, sign out of the application and sign in again.

The box you tick before paying

If you live in the UK, the EU or the EEA, the law gives you 14 days after your first payment to change your mind. Pro starts as soon as you pay, so before you pay we ask you to confirm that you want it to start within those 14 days. The box reads:

I want Pro to start straight away, before my 14-day cancellation period ends. I understand that I can still change my mind within 14 days of my first payment. If I do, I will get my first payment back, less a proportionate amount for the time Pro was available to me.

Ticking the box does not give up your right to change your mind. You keep that right for the full 14 days. Refunds and your 14-day right explains how to use it.

The price and your billing date

Pro costs £10.00 a month, including VAT. You are charged straight away when you buy it, and then on the same date each month until you cancel. For example, if you buy Pro on 12 March, your next payment is taken on 12 April. Your account page shows your next billing date.

The price is the same in the UK and in the EU. It includes VAT at the rate for the country you live in, which is worked out from the billing address you give when you pay. You are charged in pounds sterling, so if your card is in another currency, your bank may add a conversion fee.

If the price ever changes, we tell you at least 30 days before the change takes effect.

Receipts, invoices and VAT

Stripe emails you a receipt for every payment and every refund. The receipt is issued by JIA Software Limited, the company that runs BetTrading.net and sells Pro, and it shows the VAT included in the price.

To see your past invoices, sign in, open your account page and select Manage billing. This opens Stripe's secure billing page, which lists them.

Checkout does not ask for a VAT number. Every sale is treated as a sale to a consumer, so VAT is always included in the price, whether or not you are buying for a business. If you have a question about a receipt or about VAT, email support@bettrading.net.

Updating your payment method

Sign in, open your account page and select Manage billing. On Stripe's secure billing page you can change the card or other payment method that Pro is charged to.

If a payment has failed, your account page shows a message about it with an Update payment method button, which opens the same page. If a Pro payment fails explains what happens next.

We never see or store your full card details. You enter them on Stripe's pages, not ours.

What you can do from Manage billing

Select Manage billing on your account page to open Stripe's secure billing page. There you can:

• update your payment method;
• see your invoices;
• cancel your subscription;
• keep your subscription, if you have cancelled it and changed your mind before it ends.
